Has anyone fitted mudflaps other than Seat ones specific to thier model?

For example Sparco ones that are just really a big sheet of plastic. The reason I ask is because I've seen a lot of manufacture mudflaps on cars but they dont look like they are making much of a difference. I've been toying with the idea of making my own slightly longer and wider than standard.

Any help, ideas or pics would be great thanks.

mud flaps easy to fit?

When I bought my Brisa Blue Stylance 2.0 TDI at the end of 2006, the dealer quoted £135 just to fit front and rear mud flaps! I ended up having chrome tailgate trim alloy look speaker and door trims +front bumper and exhaust trim.(all fitted free) Also has bluetooth convenience pack rear parking sensors and 17" rims (shame about Pirelli P7 tyres which are not good enough) As car gets dirty quick, would like mud flaps if easy to fit.

Any help would be appreciated
