I've found some parts for my car but they come in primer. How much, roughly, would it be to spray a bonnet, bumper and grille?

Also, i notice Halfords are selling paint now, or can order it in. Do you think they would have (be able to order) paint for the mk2 ibiza, as it's quite old now. And is the 'Valcano Red' on the Ibiza the same paint colour as the Polo?

If i take the parts to get sprayed, would i have to supply the paint, or can they order it?

Finally, should i just take the parts to be sprayed, or should i try and get the paint and do it myself? Anyone know how many cans i'd need to spray the bonnet, bumper, and grille? 2? 3?

Thanks, and sorry for the long post...

it would be a couple hundred quid or so, they will find the colour code from your car and either order the paint or mix it up. i would personally let the pros do it

The pros like crezz said will mix it up for you and so could Halfords although if taken to a body shop they could spray it on the car and blend it in so there is not a miss match of colours as your car would have faded a bit over time.

i agree with the others as seat factory colours have different shades and a pro would be able to match the colour better

Thanks a lot for the replies. That settles it then. I'll take it to the pros to get it done.
Thanks.
