Park Assist red dot

Hi ,New to the forum.Picked up a Seat Leon FR Black aadition (2025). Notice the park assist icon shows a red button on and off and sometimes the icon disappears altogether but always returns.
Is this normal and if so what does the red dot mean?

Hi, it seems it's usually just that it's ready to start looking for a parking spot - this seems to happen when I'm going through town or a car park slowly, so imagine yours is the same?

Many thanks AlipneSi mine does seem to happen when travelling at Low speeds, although it has happened on the motorway a couple of times.Had the delaer look at it and they say they cant find anything wrong

Same here, I'd like to turn the function off where it detects parking spots and keeps turning the red dot on and off. If you can't park yourself, don't drive a car.
