Does anybody have one of these? Are they recommended?

I saw one that said it wasn't compatible with an iPhone 5, I need one that is!

Finally, Halfords charge £50 to fit them, is it worth getting them to do it or is it easy enough to do?

The Parrot CK3100 is easy to use and to install.
If you have any experience with removing your Seat Sound System you should be fine.
It's really easy, just plug and play. :)

I have a Parrot Mki9100, it's an awesome piece of kit. It was professionally installed for me but i'm sure someone with a little electrical know-how could work it out.

Allows me to stream music from my iPhone/iPod while charging it and also has AUX and USB input... It solved all of my audio problems without the need to install a second headunit while also sorting out hand's free... Highly recommended!

I got one fitted, best purchase so far! Like you say, it's sorted all audio problems. The battery is going a little fast though, I'm not sure if it's in the screen or the other bit with the buttons though! I would think the screen is running on my car's battery but I'm not sure!

Yes, the screen runs from and is powered by the blue-box which in turn is powered by the car's battery... The remote is wireless and does require a new battery every 3/4 months depending on how much you use it... but they are pennies and very simple to change.

There are cheaper parrot options available, but I went for this one like I said as it solved all audio issues without the need for a second headunit and solved hands free at the same time :)
