passenger door sticks in hot weather....

My passenger door will not open in hoy weather via central locking.....once the car cools down a bit it unsticks and starts working..... Anyone had this problem.....???

Tried lubricating the door latch.? There isn't much else it could be.

Wd40 may loosen anything stuck then use a good grease on it.

Ok so I've managed to use some wd40 on the little knob on to of the door. So now the door opens but it does not lock is my central locking shagged..????

just seen this thread again. I sprayed the wd40 all over the door latch and down inside it aswell as using the straw and spraying it in the door lock (drivers side). If you pull the handle and hold it you can fit the straw in the gap and spray inside the lock / door.

You can then do the same with lithium grease when it's working again.

Cheers Christ.......just before I read your post I did exactly what you just posted. I used the small red straw on the Wd40 pulled up the latch and started spraying.......this enabled me to pull up and twist off the small latch and then I sprayed a shitload of wd40 down the hole........it's working now so the big test will be what happens when it gets a little warmer. But so far it's done the trick, cheers guys.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu.......after spraying the lock last night I get up and try and open the passenger door today and it was jammed shut!!!! I removed the small knob inside the car and sprayed more wd40 but now I can't get the door open at all.......I'm stuck now, what do I do if I can't get the door open.....????

Ok can anyone help with getting the door panel off the passenger side door when the door is jammed shut....?? Great idea for seat to put no key lock on the passenger side......NOT
