Hello all, i have recently put my 150 on the road it has been remapped by previous owner. I have had the turbo reconditioned and i iut it back on as the last one on it had play in the shaft. After driving it i have looked at my boost gauge and it is boosting up to 2bar of pressure( my gauge only goes up to 2 bar) i dont know how much higher it is boosting over 2 bar.

My question is what is the peak boost pressure you guys have on your remapped pd150's?

I'm going to put vcds on it to check what it actually boosts to on the weekend(will be driving it steady untill i know what boost pressure it is trying to put into the engine. Thanks in advance

I used to use Torque app and used to get 20 on the gauge (Guessing this was PSI), car was standard.

20 psi is around 1.3/1.4 bar and i know standard they should be up to 1.5 bar with a max of 1.8 bar deviation before limp mode for things like sticky vanes causing it to spool faster than it should. But mine as soon as i boot it is hitting 2 bar very quick so needing to know what other remapped pd150s are boosting at so i know if it is safe to keep it going as it is and buy a higher bar boost gauge or to get the boost lowered before it does any major damage. Thanks for your reply though it's appreciated
