Having checked my last MOT on the 'Advisorys' its listed the front springs corroded and sure enough they snapped, the centre exhaust was deteriorated and that gave up not long after.. Final one was the petrol tank strap was excessivly corroded. Since everything else has fallen apart that was on the advisory has anyone else had this problem? Is it easy to fix??

Yeh just source another one from somewhere, get the car up on axle stands or car ramps.
There are two straps in total with two bolts on each holding the strap on, should be okay to remove one strap and change it.
Might be a good idea to do it when the fuel levels quite low just so theres a bit less weight in the tank.
