Small update, i've been getting really bad squeaks from the front drivers side wheel and my abs kept kicking in at very low speeds, also had a but of play in it to. So i ordered a bearing kit from Seat. I picked the kit up friday afternoon and took the hub assembly off on the sunday ready for it to get pressed in monday morning. But! My abs ring was knackered and the screw that keeps the disc in place was snapped in the hub. So i went back to Seat and ordered a new hub to. £155 down and its all sorted! Apart from now my abs light is on all the time and my tcs light soon follows
Heres the pic of the new hub and bearing.
I don't have much money until payday so i thought i'd do a couple of cheap mods to keep me happy
First one was a Pug 207 stubby aerial to swap the one already on the car which wasn't really my taste!
My second was some scn.net stickers which haven't arrived yet so i can't post up pics.
While taking the brembos off to get to the hub i noticed the inner pistons seem to be sticking as the pads had a layer of rust on and the inside of my discs had spots of rust to. So i'll be ordering a seal kit and might aswell refurb them at the same time!
When i get paid at the end of the month i'll be sending off the oz super t's to be spayed in shiny gloss black
I haven't updated this for a while so got a bit to report
First thing was the Miltek backbox was hanging too low and a bit wonky so i sorted that out with a powerflex hanger and re-aligned it to!

Next on my list was to get the intercooler back to silver, the last owner had sprayed it black with a rattle can. It was looking really dull and chipped so decided to sort it out!
Took the bumper off and started sanding the edge of the FMIC, i did this with each edge working up the grades to 1200 wet and dry, i then polished it up with some megs metal polish and some 0 grade wire wool. The vent part was just too tricky to do, so i popped down to halfords and bought some Peugeot Aluminium Metallic silver to spray it with.
I think it turned out pretty good in the end, i fancied having it on show a bit

Got the wheels back refurbed in gloss black wrapped up in the lovely new rubber! Really happy with the finish on them
With getting spotless alloys back i couldn't stick them on without getting the insides of the arches all clean before they went on. They were clean before i bought it so i was only one winters worth of S**T to get rid of.

They came out quite well but could do with some tar remover to remove the remaining tar spots stuck in there.
Before i put them on i waxed the inside and out of them with some poor boys wheel sealant so it will make cleaning easier from now on.
With the arches cleaned and the wheels waxed up i washed the whole car and threw them on.

Feels much more like mine, and even though a lot of you on here and my mates loved the bbs wheels i'm happy with my decision, and have even changed some of my mates minds now. Plus its looking more like and R

Will be getting some legal pressed plates soon.

Car looks real nice, though I think you should get the Seat Sport and O.Z Racing decals back on the wheels like the CupraRs originally had. (I would say that though as I've done it to mine lol)

Just had a look at your thread, your Cupra was for sale when i was looking, only reason i didnt go and have a look was because i was after a red one lol.

Yeh the twin backboxes are a pain! Tightened it up really tight so hopefully wont budge again!

no still the same as last time needs a good wash, to be honest i dont think ill be doing much to it might change a few things but nothin major
100% better on the cupra R wheels, lovely combination with the red, and I much prefer the stance on the 16's
