Pictures of an FR & 18''

yellow and luna grey, on 18"s it should be law! the 17's arent nasty, the 18's just finish it off.

Greytop - decided i wanted a red tdi fr but after seeing the pictures of yours i'm now torn...just a quick question, on the rear of your car the bumper matches the rest of your car whereas on the red and yellow ones i've seen the bumper part is black - was that standard on your car or did you have to ask the dealer for it?

Johnny, as everybody else has correctly said it is black and actually doesn't match. When I took those pictures the ambient light wasn't great so you can't easily pick up the difference, your eyes actually do better than even a medium to good camera can. In brighter sunlight the difference is much more noticable. Obviously the contrast is not as great as with Luna or the flat colours but it is there. If we get a bit of sun over the next few days I try and take a few more and post them.

thanks for the reply, are you happy with your choice of colour? I saw one in a Seat workshop a few days ago and it didn't really stand out to me but it was very dark..does it look good in the sunlight?

Hi Johnny,

Yes 100% happy with it. When it was unveiled at dealer I just knew we had made the right choice. In my opinion Zenith gives the FR a 'moody' appearance that absolutely suits the car's character. We had considered Crono but my better half thought it was too loud and 'in your face', on reflection though I still like it, I now agree with her. We then settled on Zenith but hadn't seen an FR in that colour, then while talking to a dealer we were very nearly persuaded to go for Black Magic (the car was sat in front of us in the showroom) but the deal was not done. We reconsidered and stuck to our guns, Zenith was ordered........as I said boy were we pleased when we saw it at the dealer. Sorry for the epic
Oh yes in sunlight it looks stunning. And funnily enough when it rains too......our FR has now had two coats of Swissol Saphir, lovely stuff

Oh the zenith grey is stunning!! I went looking at the new leon fr tdi couple of months ago.. was down to a toss of a coin if I went for it. But was going for that colour with the 18's.. Im going to stop drowling now, before I call sales man back up again..lol.. hubba hubba..
