Pinstriping Wheels

What is the best or easiest way to pinstripe wheels. I have a set of standard gloss black starfish 17" alloys and i am toying with the idea of putting a silver 3mm pinstripe around the rim.
My only concern is that if i used stick on stripes then they may peel off in time or when i come to have my tyres changed they would get mullered by the tyre fitter!

Beware the alloygators!!!!!

I cant get it on my phone but a friend of mine fitted them, and they came off and royally messed up his wing and doors. Unless fitted by the guys who make them don't bother tbh. This guy wasn't stupid when it comes to cars and followed the instructions but it still came off. Needed a respray on the wing and door :/

Rim tape isn't permanent sure but no risk of damage!
