Pistonheads - Cornering lights

This made me laugh, a debate on Piston heads regarding cornering lights. Makes me want to smash them or turn them off even more. Useless and embarrasing all wrapped up in one

I love how people get so annoyed with them

They will be a bit "Marmite" but IMO I like them, and to be honest I'm not looking at the front of my car when I'm driving so I don't care what people think.

I find the lights useful whilst turning up my drive. Lights it up really well. Good feature me thinks

Don't have any problems with them on my own car, nor do they annoy me when I meet another car with them.

I can laugh at people on a forum complaining about a feature their own cars don't have. Lifes too short for that kinda crap!

I don't see what's so bad about them, they're actually dead useful for driving in the dark sometimes

Pointless feature IMO, and looks like A) You are "that guy" who drives around with fogs on and B) You only have one fog light working and you can't be arsed fixing the other one.

I must admit they weren't my favorite feature on the boc. I'm back an forth between SW Wales and Birmingham. Useful down in Wales due to where i stay having lots of unlit country roads with potholes the size of the river severn but in Brum theres little to no use for them.

What winds me up is people driving around with their fogs on constantly. I've been pulled over for the cornering fog lights before in Wales but up here police don't seem to care i've seen numerous cars with neon blue headlights that don't light the road at all and limo black tinted windscreens ?!

I thought that rather amusing and did I have to say the mad urge to go a trolling, that however is unacceptable. So to that end I am not going to disable mine ever!! Just so people like that can have a mild coronary over something so trivial!

Going by some of the crappy grammar and 14 year old's text speak by some on this forum (probably an age thing) I can understand why a new visitor might be of that opinion. Quite funny at the same time though.
