Jason Plato has been presented with the British Racing Drivers' Club Silver Star for a record fourth time. Having previously won the Silver Star in 2001, 2004 and 2007, no other racing driver has won the BRDC's highest national racing accolade more than twice.

Not as yet. JP has said his aim for 2009 is for a return to the BTCC if possible. But at the end of the day he'll most likely be looking for a paid drive and they are seemingly few and far between.

Thommo has been strongly linked to a 2009 drive with Dynamics and always possible him and JP could team up for a bit of dream team.

Arena are aiming to run two Ford Focus' race cars with Tom Chilton in one and who knows in the other.

An independent team running Volvo's are being rumoured too. So there are some possibilities floating about.

Darren Turner would I expect like to continue running in the BTCC, but as with JP, Darren is a bread and butter race driver. So he'll no doubt be looking for something that helps pay the bills, GT Racing is his specialty and for sure he has certainly been far more successful in that area of motorsport.
