please help, car not starting and alarm going off.

Hi. My car will not start and if I try the alarm goes off. I'm getting fault code 17069, ecm power relay control circuit open circuit. Where is this relay? I need my car for tomorrow to go to work. Please can someone help.

Had a similar thing a while ago was a flat battery didnt have enough power to crank the car over but enough to set off the alarm. Might not be same fault but best to check the battery just in case.

Thanks, battery voltage seems fine. is the ecm relay the one under the bonnet near the airfilter in the black box

I've got in started now. Don't know how tho, the battery was showing 11.7 volts but the car was cranking like the battery was almost dead? Maybe I need to change the battery.

Yeah batt voltage is way low.

What does it read with the car running?

11.7 volts is a dead battery.

Sorry I meant 12.7v, it runs to 14v when running. I just parked the car up then got back in it about 5 minutes later snd it wouldn't start and the alarm kept going off. I checked the relay under the bonnet, and gave it a little tap. Still wouldn't start, it went to start but didn't. Then after a good few cycles of the igntion it decided to start. It's happened a few times before but never for this long. Maybe a sticky relay?
