Does anyone have one of these ?

how well does it work

I'm close to pulling the trigger but wanted some owners thoughts

I have one in my LC Cupra Mk2. Works amazingly. Its nice to see all your temps / boost pressure etc. As well as the comfort features.

Any questions about it - just ask, I'll be happy to answer.

I've just had a look at what these are, they look fantastic. And it all displays in the dash LCD? Can you easily view and scroll through each item while the car is driving at any speed? Did you fit it yourself Tander? Does it open up any other features that would usually require VagCom?

There's a thread on here in the MK2 section already, big long thread, as one of the guys on here has it.

Can't seem to find it at the minute though.

Yeah I did see that thread but it dint seem to have anyone who used it with a facelift car

I have the first gen one in my Golf and its a excellent piece of kit..You need high line display to make it work

I didn't install it no. But its plug and play, very easy to install.

It allows you to change things that are normally only done via vag-com. Like auto close windows / sun roof when it starts raining and your car is parked. You can adjust a whole load of things.

It allows you to have up to 10 screens with all sorts of parameters from sensors.
You can go through it while driving [not speed restricted] there are some functions that you cannot change while you're driving - from memory, these are light / rain sensors %'s (How sensitive they are) and a few other smaller things. As soon as you stop moving, you can save the settings.

This looks very interesting. Does this make having a oil temp and boost gauge obsolete? Didn't see the prices, so how much are these?

Oil temp will only display on cars with an oil sensor, it's seems to be very hit and miss what cars have this, the sensor only seems to be on cars that are able to be set to variable servicing

The seat Leon's don't have oil temp sensors. So that won't work. But it shows boost just fine and this makes external boost gauges pointless as you can see your boost right there on the mfd..
