Basically left my car in town for a couple of hours and noticed quite heavy condensation on the inside of the window screen.

Normally the car is garaged and the leaky door seal issue has been sorted, it was serviced yesterday and having just checked the filter it looks new, but I didnt take it out. There is no water anywhere else or has ever been since I jumped on the door seal about 18months ago.

I can only assume the filter wasnt quite seated right, every time I do a serch for the pollen filter guide I cant seem to bring up any pics to help check it.

So short story - a link to pollen filter with pics please.

I think the problem is that it's virtually impossible to take pics, I've just put mine back in and had to do it by feel rather than sight.

Basically you want the skirt of the pollen filter cover to hang straight down, rather than caught on the filter itself or the wiring loom that is just in front. It needs to fully enclose the left hand side and the front of the pollen filter housing. You should also check that the filter shield is in place, item 17 of this picture;

Unfortunately there is a second point of entry for water, which I think is item 11 in that same picture. I think that has failed on my car, so no matter how well I fit the cover the water is still going to get in. As I can't actually get to that item, all I've done is clear the drain holes so hopefully there won't be such a build up of water sitting behind that seal.
