Popping and spluttering when revved.

I've noticed recently when the car stationery and I rev it the exhaust pops and seems to splutter? When under load it sometimes misses/splutters when coming on and off the accelerator but otherwise drives fine? Any ideas anyone?

Also notice the exhaust pipes soot up easily which makes me think its running rich.

Maintained correctly? Running rich? sparks ok if petrol? throttle body filthy with oil? intercooler filling with oil from age throwing oil in inlet manifold?

Had the car checked out at midland vw and its running fine, car was logged and they couldn't find any miss fires, sounds like the powerflow cat back is causing the problem so I'm on the search for a miltek.

How loud is your blueflame exhaust? Have you got a centre box?

I've got blue flame full system with centre box.

Sounds good. Videos in my thread. But I had a high flow exhaust manifold
