Hi forum,
I am potentially going to be looking at a 2014 Leon FR 184 with the tech pack. i am looking for it just to a second car for running around, chucking the dog in and going back and forward to where I work sometimes, it is listed as a cat s and had both os doors damaged along with the rear quarter and wing mirror. It was repaired two and a half years ago and has done 20k miles in that time. The seller is looking for £4000. What are people’s opinions on this please.
ta,

Price isn’t bad at all to be fair considering the mileage and age. Nasty damage though. Any paperwork to back up the work carried out to fix it? MOT history good? Service history?

Ta for getting back to me.
I’ll ask the guy about the service history, it had a timing belt at 85,000 miles and clutch and flywheel at 100,000 miles. Mot is up in May next year. I will defiantly due my homework on it before I even commit to it. Here is a pic of it repaired.

Still a good price. £2-3k less than a non cat car. Up to you whether it’s worth saving that amount and buying a cat S, or paying a bit extra for a non cat. Is it a private sale? If so, then no warranty etc. which there would/should be when buying from a dealer.
