Power Loss

Recently My 01 Tdi Toledo Has Been Losing Power Intermittently. The Turbo Does Not Appear To Be Kicking In And Therefore I Can Only Get Up To 60 Mph On The Flat. If I Switch The Car Off It Resets And The Power Is Back Again. It Seems To Occur Only In The Morning.

Any Ideas Anybody????

possibly a sensor failure to do with cold starts, or long standing starts where the car hasn't been run for a long time after cold. pop it down to a diesel engine specialist not a seat dealer. they should be able to help you at a fraction of the cost.

Took the car to local Seat garage on monday, turns out the Turbo is at fault. £1000 to replace and fit. Thankfully the warranty covers the whole job.

It Turns Out The Turbo Was Failing On My Car, Thankfully The Warranty I Bought Covered The Entire Refit £1000. Some Difference In The Responsiveness Of The Engine Now. Def A Good Idea To Buy Third Party Warranty.
