Pressed Aluminium Number Plates

I'm thinking of getting some of these for my FR. What's the general opinion on them? As far as I can find the only road legal ones for newer than 2001 cars have a strange lip at the bottom.... here's a pic....

100% not legal unless your car is from 1973 IIRC

You will get pulled every time a copper see's you!

whilst were on about plates does anybody know any good private plate sites, ive tried the dvla n couldnt find anything i liked.
