i really did think the rises had halted (for now), anyway, a penny went on overnight at my local Shell, now 130.9, this morning 46.63ltr for £61.04 [:@]
(47.47ltr cost me £46.00 May 2007 [:@]:censored:[:@])

i fill when i need to which is at redlight
can't see point of topping up all the time, when you see cheap as this is similar in action to panic buying.
if you always do this, then cool, but why now just to save what 10p?

i read a crappy article on the bbc website, called "hypermiling". they had some bollocks about removing seats for weight, but a decent bit of advice was only filling half up, because half a tank weighs less than a full tank....

But if you're doing 5-600 miles a week, that means filling up every 3 or 4 days which is a right pain in the arse...

Hi guys.Just stumbled on this thread.Lookin' at the dates of the posts we are defo gettin ripped off now.Bet nobodys payin 1.12 a litre now.Rip off just gets worse all the time.

however we would suffer badly if this happened here :(

Shell diesel's been 132.9 round here for over a week.

V-power petrol is not far behind at 126.9 :headhurt:

im 128.9 in Elderslie Shell - seems to be the cheapest around Renfrewshire by far - others hovering around the 130.9 - 132.9 mark. Although they are holding that value

i've just started mixing Veg oil in mine!! it's at 1.17 a litre, i know it's not as cheap as it used to be but it's at least 15p/litre cheaper than diesel!!

I've only added 4 litres to 20 of diesel as a test on a long run and had no probs (so far!!)

Well its up to over £1.30 litre! This is getting stupid! Travelling to europe the fuel prices are not that much different, but Germany has the best I have seen in my last few travels, our Government should take a leaf out of their books, lower tax on diesel than on petrol, they are supposed to be encouraging better fuel, COME ON... LOWER TAX ON DIESEL!

wel it's now going down in price, woohoo by 5p a litre in shrewsbury this week.

thanks to nathanio for providing that spreadsheet, makes me feel sad.
10k miles since march
stupid amounts on diesel and all for only 45mpg and 475 a tank, not happy at all. especially when i look at each tankful on own it is 48mpg and 550 - should have got an r

I feel the same you know...

i had a cupra r and i want one back...the diesel just isn'#t the same!

how much has the fuel in shrew gone down to?

coz the way i see it, petrol has gone down 5p but diesel hasn't changed at 128.9p

Diesel is at 121.9 at Byker in Newcastle, shall be filling up when need to, hopefully will stay at that!
