Privacy Glass and Window Tinting

The FR and Cupra variants come with Privacy Glass on the rear windows, does anyone know if they are coloured glass or normal with a tinting film? And therefore if they are glass, has anyone applied window tinting to the rear windows to make them darker?

Prior to my 184FR i had a black A3 with 5% tints on, and much preferred the look and security of it not being possible to see into the back of the car.

I think it's coloured glass. Not 100% sure as I never asked. I didn't think they were dark enough so had them tinted anyway

It's tinted glass. No reason why you cannot have a tinting film applied to make them darker.

I think most factory tints are proper tinted glass.

The factory tints aren't very dark are they. My Focus had much darker rear glass!
