hello everyone

My cousins seat leon is in trouble lol... im not sure what the exact model name is in the uk but here in spain its a 2002 seat leon 1.9 tdi sport, i looked up the engine and its the one with 148 bhp (hope that helps)

Anyways while driving it one day the car suddenly lost all power and started spitting out smoke, my cousin was able to take it to a garage and they told him it had no oil in the engine, so he put some in and limped home

Now the car spits out a misty white smoke, so he called up a friend and they told him that one of the oil hoses had burst and that the turbo sucked in all the oil.
Is there anything else that i should look for, that might cause this?

Now on to my question jaja.
This guy said that the turbo was gone, but i mean its just oil couldnt we clean it off? also if it does indeed need to be changed, do you guys know any good replacements for the stock turbo?

Also is there a guide on turbo removal? i havent found anything on this site so far about this. This is going to be my first time working on a diesel engine and i dont want to mess anything up.

I thank you all for looking at my post and hope to hear some good advice :D

the engine or the turbo? i know some engines can run a little bit with no oil, although i highly doubt those engines will last in that state
