I have had this for months on the Cupra, although it is a pre-fl. Was the ECU different for FL/R? Only one program stored etc..?

a few pre-fl cars have had it for a while

Ive had this for over a week now testing it

Nope haha

the options ive got are, Stock,95RON,98RON,104RON

I run Nitro+ or Momentum99 so i only ever need 98RON but if i was ever forced to use 95Ron or 97RON fuel i would use the 95Ron program

With regards to the switching, ive used APR Switching before on MK1 LCR's and this works very similar, had no issues with it.

daft question i know Andrew, but stock mode must take account of downpipe if required, as in stock power with test pipe file or something to save EML?

Would be interesting to go back to stock for a run to feel the difference in power : )

Just emailed my tuner to see about getting this flashed soon, seems the right thing to do.

D

Just read your post again and seen we can put back to stock, this could possibly tempt me because the missus has not driven the car since it got mapped because she felt it was too quick for her in stock mode...

With regards to stock mode and downpipe you would have to ask Evan or Keith

i dont plan on running stock mode :cartman:

Yeh Anti-Theft was the best option on the list of programmes

Other than 98,95 and 104 (Unlikely to ever use in UK)

Hey guys thanks for the chatter here--we're very excited about this release and I can confirm that Valet mode is available, but the anti-theft feature had to be left out due to lack of memory in the ECU. Actually, a completely new method of switching had to be developed for these ECUs.

Coming from the US market where a majority of these cars/customers have APR and ECMS, I have to say I'm pretty surprised at the interest in anti-theft here, especially since it's a feature people seldom talk about using. So, why is the anti-theft so important to you guys? :)

Quite honestly, the sheer amount of top end hot hatches getting stolen in the uk is at an ever increasing level and a lot of people in certain areas of the country would feel it hugely beneficial as it seems to be getting too close for comfort in some areas

That's a very valid point. Thanks Graeme! :)

I'll work with our software engineers to see if there isn't a way we could replace a performance program for anti-theft.

I've had 3 attempted thefts of my car this year I now resort to blocking the garage with another car so the anti theft would be a god send.

I had a suspicion that one of my cars was unexpectedly after leaving it at a parking place and going on hols for 2 weeks. Noticed the petrol was lower than I expected. But had no proof. So that was my intended use.

Evan i get daily updates from Thames Valley police (some neighbourhood scheme i signed upto when i moved down here)

Within the last week there's been two cars lifted within 2 miles of APR HQ by means of breaking in the house and taking the keys, little things like Anti-Theft make it that little bit harder :D
