It'd have been cheaper to have just bought the proper version in the first place. "R"

the satisfaction of killing an "R" in the "Pretend" Modified Cupra far outweighs this comment,

if you have nothing nice to say........

A decent map & FMIC should see 220+ , but depending on how deep your pockets are, many 1.8t's have seem 400+ ,

Plus with a decent FMIC setup the car is starting to come together as a basis should you want to stick and a Big turbo etc. see it as a project ;)

& welcome to the LC club!

if i wanted to buy the r version and pay extra 2000 on insurance, i would have bought my brothers r26 team f1 which clearly shits over an r, but my circumstances made me differ.

Yea I hate the comments about us fellow cupra owners who should have bought a "r" instead. It's almost like saying you should have bought a veyron instead lol. I love the cupra r but I just perfer the looks of the facelift cupra and love being the underdog. But as said above it's all about the building and not buying that make cars unique and personal.

i bought a cupra almost identical to this. only totally standard without the splitter or tints, and it has the full black electric leather.

the difference between this and the 'r' was too little to be worth the extra cash. the standard cupra without mods has plenty of pull for the road. maybe not great amount for track but neither does the 'r'.

just out of interest how much did you pay for your car?? (if its not too much of a cheeky question). looks good. i understand your struggle to find a good one. took me a while too. looked at so many cars that had been described as mint and had faded paint and flaky lacquer!!
