Hi All
I was a member here a while back had a Mk1 Leon FR, not looking at buying the mk2 version hopefully in a couple of months time.

I have seen many comments about dealers and it seems a real mixed bag of experience, i really want to get it right this time round and was wondering which dealer you would all recommend? My nearest is Listers in Coventry, but im not the biggest fan of listers and it seems that some of you have had some iffy experiences.

Any advice appreciated.

On another note im thinking of going for a Furia Grey FR but cant find any actual photos, can anyone help?

I've dealt with Listers at Coventry, I can't say a bad word about them...

They were accomodating with the pick-up date and I didn't find them too pushy, quickly dealt with a problem afterwards. I was impressed with the amount of cars they had in stock. I dealt with Stephen, forget his second name.

I bought my car from Barlow Motors in Wolverhampton, again no problems.

I had to push hard for the deal that I wanted but I got it in the end, They're not part of a group so they don't have the stock levels of Listers, but you'll see the owner in & out the showroom. I found all of the departments helpful, Sales, Service, Parts.

I dealt with Richard Jones when I bought my car.

I bought my Leon FR from a private seller on Autotrader. Are you looking at going for the facelift version? I had a quick whizz around the t'inter-pipe

When I dealt with Listers in Coventry, they were great. I've dealt with them loads of times and they have always been spot on. They do seem to have a lot of stock a lot of the time, though. Always quick to resolve any problems I've had.

thanks for the feedback, seems i should be ok going to listers in coventry then. I have had no problems with that particular listers location, but the listers group as a whole. Still like to see a pic of a new leon in furia grey if anyone has one?
