Quaife comes with a life-time warrenty for a reason ....they never break , unlike the peloquin.

Before = i couldnt plant the power before i got on a stright
After = You would not belive the lock i can put on while squeezing on the boost ( roundabouts etc are fun now )
PS I have a Quaife ( with F&R ARB's )

Yep.. :) I believe that and also know that (not yet tested by myself), but it is always nice to hear some experiences and of course wow "wipes" :p

Dont get me wrong both are good units , BUT i had the choise of BOTH units and yes the penguin ( lol) was cheaper but iv read of a few breaking but never a Quaife so for me it was more piece of mind more that X performs better than Y if you get my drift. ( just giving honest advice )

LSD fitted to DSG

DSG Version here:

http://www.quaife.co.uk/VW-DSG-ATB-diff

How much to get it fitted? How difficult to DIY?

Has anyone fitted, or is having fitted, a LSD to a DSG gearbox ?
I've had a quote of £1500 from Awesome but another workshop said they would not work on a DSG box due to their complxity, even though they were listed as LSD distributors.
Is there a risk in modifying a DSG box in a uprated Leon which is otherwise fine (except for a lack of traction) ?
Ian.

I have a question for the experts...A friend of mine told me that if i put a LSD on my Cupra i will loose top speed and the power dissipated from the engine to the trasnmission will be bigger which will result in worst accelerations...Is this true? Will the LSD be better on the 0 - 60 and corners and the rest will be worst?

Thanks

Some things will just stay the same, others will just get better!!!

Its a win win situation :funk:
