Quarter mile time

I went to gti inters on Saturday and run my Ibiza up the strip, it's only running 182 bhp, only mods are jabba stage 1 map, jetex cone filter, cat-back exhaust and Alisport intercooler (same size as forge), it's was drizzling when I did my run. I manage a 14.94 and a 0-60mph in 6.28 are these good times for the mods I've got on the car??. Think my uniroyal rainsports made the most differences in these conditions

That sounds a bit slow...i have stage 1, fmic, backbox, pretty bad Barum tyres, LPG installed so i am a bit heavy...took my seats out and managed 14.5 (reaction included).

It was wet tho and mine was quickest Ibiza to 60 for quite awhile most were 6.6 n mine was 6.2, I had a full tank of fuel (only did 50 mule from filling up) and I've got full interior. Didn't think it was to bad I beat a mk5 golf Gti edition 30 which surprised me cos there 230 bhp standard!!!

What's your stage 1 boosting to??? Mine peaks at 16 and drops to about 10/11 near redline

Its boosting to 20 psi, droping to 10,11..
I also had a race with GTI Edition thru a city street..it was a rolling start and i was faster even with LPG installed.
I have no doubt that u can easily do 14.5 if u would have less fuel, dry conditions and stripped seats (5 minute job).

Ye I would like to think 14.5 is possible, I was expecting the golf to be quicker tho especially top end but I kept hold distance between us all the way to the end!!! Ibiza 1 golf 0

Inters isnt a great surface to time on as its concrete rather than tarmac.

If you want accurate times, do multiple runs at different dedicated 1/4 mile strips around the country

Ye I'm going to retro show this weekend at pod so mite try the little Ibiza up there to se how much better the grip is there. Ye jlocks yours must have abit more top end than mite cos I was faster to 60 but you was just slightly quicker than me to 1/4 marker, was good fun tho recommend it to anyone. I only had one run cos I'm on standard dual mass crap clutch and did want to kill it!!!

14.9 sounds about the same as me, i was getting 14.9 through out the day last year at santa pod it was a scorching hot day all i have is revo stage 1 and a milltek cat back
