Just wondering how many people use these products.

I have some I've been using with the megs clay bar but have yet to use it in between washes.

I presume the car needs a good coat of wax first but I'm just a little weary of when exactly to use it.

Can it be used to safely remove the light dust that's coming down in the rain at the moment? The car just seems dirty again everytime there are a few spots of rain. I can't decide if I should just be washing it instead? That would mean doing it about 4 times a week though.

Hi mate,

here's an explanation I posted in another forum:

its designed to be used either at the end of a detail, ensure all wax residue to removed, or after a quick wash, or to remove between washing defects, like bird s**t.

Helps after a wash and dry to give that prolonged look and remove any hazing from a s**t chamois leather.

I've just started using QD as a lube for my drying towel. Having a black car, drying it witout leaving streaks is quite hard work. What I do now is:
Wash as normal (two buckets)
Rinse as normal (open hose)
spray one panel at a time with QD (I like this one)
Lay the towel out flat on the panel, and pull it across the panel as flat as poss.

One wipe and all the water is removed and the QD gives a nicer finish that just wiping off the water alone.
