R Tech...Tuning LEGENDS!

Decided to go to R-TECH after a few recommendations, for a stage 1 map on my FR+ TDi.

Stock figures were, 173.9HP & 281lbs-ft.

I was shocked at that figure to be honest, props to the previous owner looking after her. VW/Seat must underrate the power and torque.

The result after stage 1, 219HP & 344lbs-ft!

The Dyno graph:

After doing many road legal speeds, I'm happy to confirm there's no signs of clutch slippage and no loss of daily driveability.
I was genuinely expecting around the 200HP mark.

The car is transformed! I left R-TECH a thoroughly happy man!

I didn't know these gains could be had out of diesel engines reliably either..

1. Check for any fault codes
2. Visual check of the engine bay
3. Visual check of the underneath of the car
4. Rolling road session with a custom tune
5. Road test.

Plus I got to nose around the cars & racecars they had laying around

I'm not sure if they do dpf deletes, chances are they might not as it will cause a MOT failure. My car still has it's dpf.
