Hi guys,

Any advice would be appreciated. I want to either remap my car with a superchip or add the Racechip loom. Anyone done either or can suggest another or better upgrade please?
Also what induction kit to use.

2014 Ibiza FR 1.4 (140) - Standard

Cheers

I wouldn't even think about them personally. Get a proper map. Depending on your location there is a lot of reputable dealers.

North - SGR Performance , Big Fish Tuning.
Midlands - Derby Remapping Services
South - JF Automotive

All of which will most likely get you around 140bhp. Derby Remapping is £200, they did mine and now it goes like sh*t off a shovel and its pretty much the same price as a racechip.

I thought a map would be better but then I also thought I could take the Racechip off if I wanted too.
I've also heard stories of remaps being reset by dealers.

i know jf will redo the map if dealer deletes it, very rare for that to happen tho.

I'm going for the remap just got to decide who to take it to. I've got two choices near me.
Do they all have rolling roads?

Superchips do remaps as well as their standard Bluefin. I know of people who have used them since 1989 without any problems on various different cars.

I only have experience of Superchips and as I've never had a problem I'd struggle to trust anyone else. Currently done 75k with the Leon Bluefin over 7 years..
