Radiator fans staying on?

Hi peeps as the title suggests ive noticed my radiator fans have been working whilst the AC has been switched off! Has been doing this a few times of late. Engine is fine, no overheating. I even took the key out and they where still going. Is this an issue or is it normal??

Hi, yes it is 2.0l tdi cr

It could just be the DPF regeneration cycle running. If you are noticing it more now, have you had the EA189 service update carried out?

Hi as weassley says if you've had the emissions"fix"thing done it increases dpf regen frequency I too noticed my rad fans were cutting in a lot more often so I ask my dealer 2 look into this when I took it 4 service they told me it's normal 2 cool uner bonnet when dpf regens since found out reading various vw foums about dpf regens more often after the "fix"

There should b a stamp in your service book if not guess u could try lookin on seat's website 2 see if u can find out or if it's been serviced at a seat dealer ask em
