Raised bonnet??

Any one done this with a LCR bonnet??
Maybe a little chav in not sure!!

Your bonnet will leak like a sieve! good way of getting rid of some heat though

I personally think its look awful. Saw it on a few Saxo's at some of the old meets and it looked wrong.

i did it on my 106 ralltye and my focus, i like the look of it but it is possible to go to far and look like a tit, i did that on my 106 first time round.
might do it at the weekend just to see what it looks like, will post up if i do it...

Maybe if you had a turbo so huge your bonnet wouldn't shut, or you live in 1998, but otherwise, just no.

Raising the bonnet has been looked into before, it makes the cooling effect under bonnet worse iirc. Best to make sure you have all the undertrays in place along with the side engine covers - makes sure as much of the underbonnet heat is sucked out as well as providing the best cooling through the rad.

By all means take the insulation off from under the bonnet
