Ok guys!
Know I may well get shot/ hung/ stabbed/ all of the above for this but I think it may well be the first and doing things Noone has done before is good!
I'm off to more than likely buy that high mileage Leon cupra today and I'm wondering what people think!
If not il keep it as a spares car or break it!
Any ideas? Steel wheels? Batter it a bit?

I know it has been done before but on a Leon? I'd better not put my address up or someone will send "the boys" round! Just an idea guys! Bear in mind this car us really cheap and o could break it or use it a spares car too! I wouldn't do it to my cupra or my tdi Leon either but I thought it would be something that hasn't been ratted before!

Why is it too new? It's nearly 11 years old! Is this just because you don't want to see a Leon ratted? Remember this is only ideas mate. The alternative for the car would be worse! Of course I could just sell it on or break it up !

Mate it's got 260000 miles on it! If I track it I WILL blow it up then! I'm bot gonna pour money into it as it just plain and simple isn't worth it! It's just an idea and bear in mind mate this is just you're opinion! Am just throwing it out there to ask all peoples opinions!

Mate I've got two other Leona as well doing the normal thing! This is only an idea at the moment! I'd like to think scn members are open to other ideas too! And I wasn't thinking of making my bonnet rusty anyway!

If you're buying it as a play thing or to make some money from parts why not do both. Strip it of all you can and sell the parts. Then track it or drive around in a light weight special!

i feel so guilty now for posting the car up now, its like i am an accessory to murder! End of the day its your car and you can do whatever you want to it, to make it special to you, however you may receive a horses head or cylinder head on your pillow if you do rat it. I think you should strip it inside sell all the bits and drop it on some low springs or coil overs and track it or use it as a daily driver.

You see that's the attitude! I have two nice leons already and was just wondering how to do it! If people had ideas! Might rat it and buy all the cheapy secondhand bits I want to lower it as far as poss! Il bet though if I do it everyone looks at the thread! Just wanted everyones ideas and opinions! Even if I rat it it will still be a good spares vehicle after!

here is my opinion. it looks **** on any car made since the 1970s. if you want a rustbucket go buy a rustbucket and dont ruin a good car that someone else could get a lot of driving out of.

a rusted bonnet is just someome looking for scene points. rat look is a lot more than that. i know a guy who pulled a mk1 golf out of a ditch after being parked there for over 8 years. he got the engine back going but never touched the bodywork or interior so you can jjust imigain what that is like!!! thats rat imo

please please dont ruin a leon. there is enough of the vag range ruined by chavs and felters.

I love opinions! It was just for fun if I do it! Yes it may well look crap but who cares? Il break it after and or keep it as a spares car for myself and sell some bits off it to you guys!
