Hi all

I've been registered on here for a while (2 years!?) but I'm finally getting round to posting after recently purchasing my Altea FR TFSi.

I must say I'm over the moon with the car, drives really well. I've had many cars over the years (including an Altea TDi, hence registering so long ago) but I've mainly been a Vauxhall driver and am a long time member of Astra Owners Club.

I would have put up a pic of the car but I see I'll need to get posting before I can do that.

Anyway the forum seems great, I look forward to contributing

Haha.. well almost, my wife has a company Astra 2.0 CDTi. Still like my Vauxhalls too.

interesting. Is the Altea a little frowned apon in the Seat community? The overweight ugly sister to the slender Leon? I wanted a Leon but my wife wanted another Altea. The compromise was I was allowed the FR (under the thumb much?). I tend to always reverse park it and only look at the front so I think I win.

seriously , the Altea are ok i suppose for a family cart

You can fit 3 adults in comfort in the back seat of an Altea, and it still has similar footprint and turning circle to Golf.
