After hunting around in late 2012 for something a little bit quicker, I settled for one of these. After test driving it I was pretty happy :).

It is Zenith Grey FR with the PD130 engine. As it was previously one of my mates cars, it came with a few bits that I would have got eventually anyway!

Spec I bought it with is as follows; stage 1 remap, window tints all round, carbon wrap here and there, badge-less grill, wheels painted in anthracite, Cupra splitter, 312 brakes etc.

Christmas time came and although the car was already lowered I wanted it lower haha. So with decent reviews I opted for JOM. Not the best brand obviously but highly rated budget coilovers I suppose. At the moment it is very pure aesthetic purposes rather than handling as so these will be changed. After buying the car a month meant I didn't have much money to blow!

Basically they are not bad for £200! Pic is with adjuster cups out on the rear.

Next purchase was a full turbo back Milltek, nom. Bought brand new meant it put a considerable dent in the wallet! Looks amazing though!

Quick clean and picture with the Milltek on! Sounds awesome, but mine seems to knock with a heavy load?

H7r HID's bought by the misses! Went nice white sidelights as well :). Picture makes the HID's look bluer!

Going for the stealth look so decided on trying the fly eyes kit tinting the lenses on the car all round. Comparison photos:

With all the fly eyes done it looks like this! Also bought some nice Cupra gloss black mirror covers as I ruined them taking them off to paint!

Kit is certainly cheap and makes a good difference tbh!

Temptation caved in and went ahead to search for some Cupra wheels. Found some on eBay and bought them out. Refurbed them in gloss black and wrapped new rubber round them. Cost me a silly amount tbh :(.

Didn't get so lucky with one! After I refurbed it... discovered it leaking air. On inspection it was cracked!

Was rocking this for a while! Thank god it clears the 312mm brakes otherwise I would have been stranded!

Luckily sourced one, got it refurbed and everything is sorted! Cracked one is repaired and is my spare ;). Has held air ever since it has been repaired so seems all is good!!

Looks really nice!

Notice much of a difference from SMIC to FMIC? One would hope it'd compliment your stage 1 map.

Thanks bud :).

Seems to pull a little better, top end etc. but could just be placebo effect? Definitely nice knowing its replaced all the crappy standard pipework! More from stage 2/3 prep :).

yes its is better top end :) I noticed it with mine! Ive got a massive boost leak at the moment though so my cars sluggish lol. You also where lucky if you where driving without the front bumper on. 2 coppers tried to do me for it when i moved my car onto my front road out my garage haha

Haha! Get it sorted ASAP! :). Glad I replaced all the OEM pipework as it seems to hold quite badly!

That is a bit harsh! Haha. I live in a estate quite out the way luckily :).

ye ive hard piped it all the way through from egr delete to turbo fitting. think the turbo fitting keeps opening up though (so getting massive leak from there)

Yeah, agreed. I've had Cupra wheels for a couple of months now and looking to get something different! :S
