I am considering re-mapping my car but its just gone over 120k, is it a bad move to make or does mileage not make a huge difference?

What I mean is that am I more likely to experience issues with the car after a remap due to the high mileage??

A friend of mine has / is is planning to remap his Leon and posted a similar question a while back.

Have a read here to see what was posted. Think the general consensus is that as long as the engine has been looked after you should be ok.

Can't see it been a problem, I know of a few tuning companies that have stripped 120k engines down to do the rings thinking they'd be needed, but the engine still looked like new inside with zero blow back at the rings.
