What MPG do you get from the 2.0 tdi 140 or 170 bhp?

Looking at 2012 models.

My overall average which is the same sort of driving mixed, roads and speeds I'm seeing around 44mpg pd170
Seen 52mpg driving steady 65 for 40 miles on motorway.

Hes asking about 2012 models so CR170 not PD170

Also remember he's asked for real life readings rather than what your trip says, my trip is about 4-5mpg out from what I actually get!

Check my fuelly in my signature to see the real mpg for my CR170 :)

My gauge is reading nearly the same as using fuel calculators...
There's 0.7 mpg difference in the last two mileage to refill checks

Hi, I have a 2.0 tdi ref sport, and think that my mpg is too low. Its the first diesel ive had and usually costs me 70 to fill up from the fuel light, however I am only getting 420 miles to this which is only 36mpg. The screen normally reads a couple higher but is obviously out. Most of my driving is A roads so equivalent to motorways however this is normally no more than 10 miles at a time. what are your thoughts?

All depends , if you drive foot to the floor everywhere then your mpg is going to be low.

I generally drive it quite reasonably, not foot to the floor as the pd engine sounds like a tank when thrashed.
