I saw this very old post and thought "no way is it that simple to fix that annoying noise that's been plaguing me for months and months" a little bit of test blue tack later and WOW!! Mind absolutely blown, no more rattle, no more stress or annoying noise!! Going to take the door card off and do the permanent fix on Saturday! thanks so much for the advice!
