I have a 2003 1.9 TDI 130 Stylance which I am looking to replace with a 2007-2009-ish 2.0L 140 Stylance.

Not being in possession of 11-foot arms, one of the features I like a lot in the 130 Stylance is the electric rear quarterlight windows. Can anyone tell me if the 'face-lifted' version of the Mk1 Stylance also has these? I have asked a couple of dealers who have had such cars for sale and got mixed answers: 'Yes', 'No' and 'only on one side'.

Authoritative clarification welcome.

(I would be happy to go for a current top spec model but SEAT shot themselves in the foot by only offering it with run-flats and no space to store a spare).

Cheers,

Hi

I have got the 2007 2.0 tdi stylance. it as only the drivers side rear quarterlight that opens.

hope that helps you.

Thanks Dazyaris, that is helpful. I assume it also has a full size spare wheel?

My 2008 Stylance has one ( non electric) opening quarterlight window on drivers side only. Seems like a backward step by VW/Audi to have done this instead of the two electric ones that were on my 1999 20vt. Still love the car even though the aircon is trying to freeze my ##### off in the warm weather.

Thanks 90landrover,

Agreed, it is baffling to have removed what is a massively convenient feature. Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit the necessary motors/wiring & switches to one of the newer Stylance models to rectify this stupidity?
