I was looking but maybe I'm simply blind...as my birthday is coming I decided to get myself and my Leon a new rear spoiler...I'm wondering how easy/hard it is to remove the rear spoiler and replace it with the bigger one from CUPRA ? I'm guessing it is a heatgun job to remove old one and some good double sided tape to mount new one ? Anyone has any experience ?

there is a genuine part that extends the FR spoiler, it basically sticks over the top of the existing one, and it ends up a little bigger than the standard cupra spoiler. swapping for a cupra spoiler would be the best option but a bit more work as they house the high level brake light

There's no plastic trim bolted on to any standard fr tailgate thus no spoiler. You must have something extra?

I can also confirm that there is no standard spoiler on the FR - I got the aero kit on mine before I sold her to get a cupra. Find the cupra spoiler more subtle than the aero kit spoiler, also is the cupra spoiler not part of the tailgate? Not sure if it will go on the FR...could be wrong though....

So how easy it is to remove that thing (I would call it a spoiler, small one but spoiler) and replace it with something like this

Is it something that one can do by himself ?

exactly,

you can remove it and replace with the cupra one, direct fit. I looked into it but the part (if ordering from seat) is rather expensive. The FR extended spoiler is a cheaper option (sticks on top) but doesnt look good in my opinion so Ive left it for now, if you have any joy let me know !

I have a 265 and the boot is the same. Tap it, it's metal it's part of the boot and can't be removed. It's not a spoiler. The cupra one will bolt over that and the tail light will be built into it. I'll be doing the same to mine.

Anyone seen a video maybe or found instructions ? I would like to have an idea how easy/complicated the process is before an attempt

I'm pretty sure the only way you're getting a Cupra spoiler onto your car is to get your hands on a complete Cupra tailgate.
