Rear Tailgate

Hi The rear tailgate on my MK2 Seat Leon TFSI does not close. The latch does not engage the catch so the boot is open. There is no noise when i lift the badge handle and theres 12v at the latch and handle. Help please

Jammed actuator probably, most likely due to mechanical failure or motor failure.

Take the latch off the tailgate and take the plastic cover off so you can see what’s going on and make an assessment.

Took off latch and plastic cover Electric motor f*^&%$d New latch required. Thanks
