Hi,
I'm looking at getting my car a stage 1 remap so I was just wondering if anybody can recommend me some companies to use. I live In Crewe Cheshire so somewhere not to far would be best please.

Cheers In advanced !

I've had P-Torque Stage 1 map for nearly 5 years and over 60k and never had a single problem. Awesome are pretty close to you (they're based in Cadishead).

How much is it for a p torque stage one map for a pd130 ? and is it safe on standered clutch ?

Yes it is safe (relatively, depends on your mileage/driving style) my clutch started slipping on my fabia vrs as soon as I got on the motorway after leaving P torque, but that was only low down the revs. Drive it properly, dont boot it till higher in the revs to look after the clutch

I had a stage 1 and a pipercross panel filter done for £295. The map was £265 but due to the new VAT rate it might be more - I'm sure Will will clarify.

As for it being safe on the standard clutch - my clutch had done 130k when i had it mapped and 12k later its still bob-on fine (touch wood) :D

Mine slips low down the the revs, just go partial throttle to till 2k and then you can boot it.

I would have to say awesome gti, Not far from you, have done loads of work on my car and they really do know their stuff.

For a pd130 you will be getting a custom remap to suit your car so know it will be getting the best possible bhp and torque taking into account condition of clutch etc.

Just my opinion but as you can see from all the other post's there really is a whole host of good people out. good luck!
