Any recommendations on tyre dressing please....

Thanks x x Claire x x

i use nielsen brilliance, i dont know if you can buy it online as i get it off a van that drives round, its very good, lasts a very long time, easy to put on and makes the tyre look grand spankin new!

just round the corner from where i work is a car detailing company, Polished Bliss. I spy from my work window some of the cars when they arrive then when they leave and they always look great.

They use a gell on the wheels, http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/blackfire-long-lasting-tyre-gel-wheels.html keep meaning to walk round and get some. I know the wheels always look good when people leave - better than i can do with £5 can of spray!

I recomend the turtlewax tyre gel from halfords or the like. I tried sprays and the gel seems to last much longer...

I use black fire and it gives a great finish, much better than the megs stuff, in fact I would rate the turtle wax gel above it. I've just ordered the chemical guys new trim gel to see how it works. Also you could try Auto glym vinyl & rubber, its durability isn't good but it does give a very good finish.

been using CG's new look trim gel for 3 years and wont use anything else... gives you options for the finish you want on the tyres (matt or shiney) and lasts well.

All the blackfire range are exellent, should walk round and see Rich from PolishedBliss he knows his stuff when it comes to detailing.

Auyoglym tyre shine for me... tyres look like new not like theyve been laminated and the finish lasts for days. About £5 for it but it will last you ages unlike the aerosol cans of back to black

I'd vouch for the blackfire tyre gel, too. Personally, I've never used it! However, after reading several reports and seeing it used on a tag-team detail this weekend in Manchester, I was pleasently suprised.

After my Megs Endurance / Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel has depleted, it will certainly find its way to my shelf at home. ;)

For a Gloss look - Chemical New Look Trim Gel, for something more 'satin' look at Swissvax Pneu
