So when I have the funds together I was hoping on splashing out on some tomason TN 1 rims. I like the look, of course i would drop at the same time on eibach sportlines. This example is a matching sport in eclipse blue (now quite a rare colour), wondering what you all think of the look.

Im torn though, should I shell out a fair bit for them, or should I refurbish my stock alloys perhaps in anthracite (as they are pitting somewhat). Heres my Leon as present (now with stubby aerial ):

Opinions?

If it was mine, I would keep the standard wheels purely because I don't like your taste in wheels

That being said, its your car, so go with how you feel.

If you do change wheels, it would be wise to keep your originals as you won't get that much for them if you sell them, and you may find you have issues selling the car on with your new non-standard wheels fitted.

they look smart, not my taste but with the blue they do look good.

if it's in your budget (allowing for new ones too) why don't you refurb yours first - could also get them polished up too - & see how they suit

Personally I'm wary of forking out for new alloys, one pot hole too hard - as the Hamster said racing that porsche cayenne down the Cyprus mountain - "that sounded expensive"!!!!
Plus, don't forget, added cost onto Insurance to consider...

Cheers for the opinions fellas, may keep the stock alloys with the eventuality of upgrading to a cupra eventually. Has anyone posted a pic of a leon sport with stock alloy 17" lowered on eibach? Closest I have got to a mental image of it lowered was when I had 5 people crammed in the car last week. Looked good I must confess.
