Hi guys,I own a pre facelift cupra with the auq engine and a friend of mine owns the facelift with auq,we both remapped our cars on the same map, however the mapper suggested I replaced my maf as I was only pushing 130ish g/s whereas my friend was pushing 170ish and his car was bog standard only stg 1 mapped, anywau I changed the maf for a new unit and did a log from idle to the redline in second and with the new maf and still only got a reading of 152.6 g/s.... Ran a scan on vcds and it came up with coolant tep sensor/thermtostat faulty...

So the big question is, how can a bog standard cupra with the same map be faster than a cupra which is almost stage 2 prepped? My car has a fair few trick parts minus intercooler and fpr and I get left behind... Would the CTS really hold back the power if it was faulty??

Silicone tip
Turbo back exhaust with 200 cell cat
Forge 007 replica
Race frequency n75
Stage one mapped
Pipercross foam induction kit
Forge actuator

Well id start by changing both thermostat and coolant temp sensor and see what happens

Your phoney forge valve may also prove to be an issue
 
Yes I believe so,I changed it for a 710N earlier and he still pulled, do you think the CTS being faulty would be the culprit? I.e telling the ecu to overfuel as it thinks the engine is only 61 degrees?

would this indicate a boost leak as the mb actual is much lower than the mb requested?
