Most likely at work
yes another remap thread,used search and got all the info on remaps i need so wont ask the generic questions.

only this;

im basically moving slowly to my target of getting a stage 2 remap. so far got the dumpvalve,induction kit and my car is going in to get the full exhaust with high flow sports cat done tomorrow. (is 100 cell any good?). next it will be the silicon hosing and induction pipe.

so by the time i manage to get ready for the remap my car will probably be sitting at over 80k miles (currently at 76k), would it be worth it?i mean,will anything be on its way out by that time?iv replaced my clutch and plan on changing the cambelt at my next service.

would you recommend a remap at a high mileage?any tips?

and would jabba sport do a mad ecu controller thingy that lets you set it on economy and full potential?any recommended (and cheap :redface:)remappers around glasgow?

I would! If you still love the car and want more out of it, then I cant see any reason not to keep doing bits to it. Ultimately nothing stopping you from keeping the car for another 80k.

cool cool,yeah the high mileage is going to stop me going all out on it,was considering the frount mounted intercooler,coilovers etc etc etc...but wont be worth it as i wont be ragging it all the time.thanx 4 ur advice

I got my LC remapped at 85000. Its now about to hit the 100,000 mark.
Its never missed a beat. It's still on its original MAF as well!

I guess it's worth bearing in mind how many miles you do Faisal. I'm now down to about 4-5k a year on a 2001 Cupra with 53k on the clock, i'm going to do plenty to it over the coming years!

i got 92k on the clock at the min and im getting mine remaped soon!

I did my 1st remap at 108000 ish and now im on a big turbo at 127000 miles so go for it mate.

No offence but we are not in the 60's having to de-coke engines any more. 80k is just worn in :) Keep the oil fresh and treat her right and all will be fine :D

Remap - Glasgow

I'm looking to get my Mk1 Leon PD130 remapped in the Glasgow area too so if anyone has any recommendations I'd be grateful? I see Drivers can do the REVO and there's a place that does the custom-code in Duntocher. Thanks, Dave

Lots of warm up time, just as much cool down time and plenty of oil changes. No need to worry about mileage.
