Be a nice drive home lol.

But in all serious don't save £100 because they are hard to map and you usually see a thread pop up saying 'had my pd mapped the other day and it seems to cut out on boost, then boost, then cut out again' and everybody will say take it to Jamie because he can sort it.

So you end up paying twice.

Im pd140. Still not got my turbo replaced yet. I keep saying it but hopefully in the next month so was considering remap after, but only for economy.

From what ive read most people gain an extra 5mpg with the added bonus of power and torque too.

This is what my closest tuning co predict for my engine

Engine Tune:
Perf. Tune: +40bhp & 80Nm
Eco. Tune: +28bhp & 55Nm*
Fuel Saving (Eco Tune): 15%

So could be atleast 50 miles per tank extra and much nicer to drive, smoother and more powerful. Win win

I flashed stage 2 Revo software on my golf 140 tonight, really not fussed about any economy gains BUT;

A. It goes like f*ck
B. Hasn't dropped from 80miles on the dash and I've battered it about 15 miles testing it.

Pleased muchly.

Jamie is the master... if you ask Darkside about Jamie they will slag him off.... His cars always make more power then there's

A guy recently spent £1200 with darkside and his car ran like rubbish, Jamie took the Darkside software off... flashed it back to standard and it was fine, then he mapped it... new owner is really happy now!

Very kindly got the dpf light on so who would be best to remove the filter and remap the car as a whole?

Hi,

I'm looking to remap the Leon and I'm wondering who is the best to go and see (in the North West) and what gains people are seeing and also if the standard engine can take it? I've been quoted 30 bhp gains and 60 odd Nm's so far

Cheers in advance

James

If you dont mind travelling the distance, South west in car tech is where i had my 08 pd170 done, its now pushing 221bhp and i dont actually know the torque haha :/

he done it for me for £210 with a rolling road before and after, he custom maps the car so i have a nice perfect curve :)

Don't tell us you got 221bhp from a BMN engine with the DPF still in place.
