yeah im saying good things, just devloped an issue with over boosting, may or may not be to do with the map, so will have to pop it back to Will and see what he reckons!

I would say the maps are as good as any other revo or custom code or what have u! Go get it!

Heard nothing but good things and glowing reviews of them, so I'd say you have chosen well. If I were closer I'd consider them myself

Ive had my timing belt changed, tensioners sevices done 3 weeks ago (dont think it made in difference) this is sad ive also brought some redex just thought it might do something, and ive had this dragon box put in, its s*it, loads of smoke and my engine management light comes on, so thats why i think its ready for a remap...................

only thing is by brother thinks i should change the cam belt? (has it got one)
and is there certain this that i should change before a remap?

Is Jabbasport the best company out there?

lol I would be making a pretty broad statement if i said they were the best out there

but I had my last ibiza cupra mapped by them, Mike at Jabba knows his VAG engines inside and out and really knows how to achieve the best from them everytime

personally i would go for the tailored remap everytime as i think you achieve a little more from your engine

dont get me wrong the likes of Revo are excellent, just Jabba are my personal preference

I wont say too much though, as I could open a whole can of worms here about who is best lol!

however it depends if you have other modifications or not. If you dont and plan to just have a remap, then the likes of Revo are perfect.

if you have mods that you want taking into accoun, i.e. filter, exhaust etc, i would go for the tailored map IMO to ensure you achieve the most:)

Sorry fella I know my question was quite broad...

I'm looking to get an exhaust and filter (may be a panel filter) at some point but I already pay through the nose to insure my car in Manchester :(

Would you suggest I wait until I have these extra mods before I purchase a remap or will it not make any difference?

Would it cause any issues if I was to get a remap before I purchase an exhaust and air filter or would I just not achieve the most from the remap?

there will be no issues if you get the mods after the remap, but just as anyone will tell you on here, it is best to get all the mods in place first and then the map, so to extract the relevant power from each mod, or basically get the most from your remap to take into account the modifications you have

exhaust and panel filter should not add much to your insurance, depends who you are insured with
