right had my ibiza 2weeks now and wanted a remap, was looking at jabba or customcode.

then looking on this forum i seen a few people had remaps done by
BELL AUTO SERVICES i seen a few reviews on here of people who had
there tdi remaped there.

so i gave PETE BELL a ring,we had a chat on the phone about what i wanted
and from what pete was saying he new his stuff! so went up to york that day
and had the remap!

and WOW what a difference its made....when i was traveling to york i was
doing 62mpg on the comp. doing 70-80mph.
coming back doing 60-70mph i was doing 78mpg!!!

the car feels so fast now from what it was standard its unreal
not to sure on the bhp its running standard is 110bhp i would
say its running around 140bhp? but tourqe is ment to be
314 at its peak. not to sure how he works it out but pete
did show me. but sort of went over my head lol.

im sure pete will help if anyone wants to ask about my remap.

hes a top chap! and he will do what you want and whats best for u.

also i payed £120 cheaper then i was going to at customcode!

here is his website www.bellautoservices.co.uk and number is
08712884656 if your looking for a remap or any tuning!

Glad to here your happy m8 :)

Thanks for the review.

Nice to see someone realy apreciates it when the older type ecu that needs a soldering job like yours, is done while you wait.

ahh so it was a chip swap and new one soldered on job, its not specifically the older type of ECUs which need this they can be remapped i think upsolute do it.

only £120 all in you say?

would be nice to see the final MPG of a whole tank, and also comments on smoothness, as the standard 110 map in 1st and 2nd is quite harsh.

Pete - whats the final ftlb of torque?

I think you have the wrong thinking of this ECU type fitted to this car.

This ECU on this car is a Bosch MSA 15 type

NOT the normal EDC15 that is fitted with a Psop44 reflashable chip via OBD

This ECU type has 2x PLCC32 27C1001 or 27C010 chips in These chips are OTP ( One Time Program)

No company in the world can reflash these chips,
hence the need for a swap.
For a 2 NEW 29F010 Reflahables / 2 sockets and an encription pcb . with my mapping

Regarding CC remapping of this ecu they needed to send the ECU to head office for this work to be carried out and the customer would normaly be without his car for a period of time :(

This is why i ended up with the job so the customer was not wating for ecus to be sent away

Regarding the final BHP of this particular car , we have not tested this actual car on the dyno but the gains will be arround +30+35bhp and +30% on torque
