110 goes to about 146 and 130 goes to about 175

130 is a pd engine and tbh now im down the line i wish i had the 130 not the 110.

PD means Pump Deuse, or unit injector, whereby the fuel pump is integral to each injector. It runs at higher pressure than the Bosch VE fuel system in the earlier 90 and 110 bhp Leons. There is a price to pay for the extra power though, its not as economical or reliable as the earlier diesel Leons.

If you're going to do a lot of miles and keep the car for a long time, I'd get a 110, if not, I'd go for a 130 or 150.

its true the 130s have a few more problems than the 110s but it depends how much you want power.

i like the 110 cause it pops it up to about 150 which is a nice bit of power and its pretty economic.

what mpg do you get? i travel about 50 miles aday in it so it needs to be economic, how much does a remap cost?

I'd agree with this. I plumped for the 110SE and got it mapped. The power is much smoother and loads of it. I've had mine done a few weeks now and the only problem is that A4's/Golfs keep trying to race me... it's only 1/2mile down the road we both realise that the output is similar and we're head to head, so it makes it a much more enjoyable drive:lol:

In terms of MPG I'm getting about 500 miles per tank, I do between 50-60 miles per day mixed m/way/Aroads and I'm not hanging around. The guy who did my map has the same car plus a merc MAF and green cotton filter and is getting nearer 650!!!

But they're good, mine cost about £300, took about 1/2hr and is much better.

Yes indeed. One of the guys at work put in touch with him and he was on route back home after I picked the car up. The Upsolute map is spot on and gives bags of power when you want it, next to no turbo lag and good pick up.

Unfortunately I'm not on commission!!! :(
